Monster, one of the most successful online recruitment specialists in the UK, wanted a big idea to engage and inform its subscribers thus meeting Monster's overall objective of being the number one destination for job seekers. Our answer was to create an e-crm campaign, which we called it the M word (borrowing from the ever so naughty F-Word). The M word goes out bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly (depending whether the job seeker is active, passive or inactive, and offers practical advice and tips on all career and job seeking issues, from what not to wear at interview to how to write a winning CV. The content varies from tactical job searching to overall career management strategy and is linked to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. This highly effective campaign has been running over three years with over 12.7m emails sent per quarter. Read the M word for yourself now.
