Will Carling Launches new Firecracker website

Will Carling, former Harlequins centre and England captain yesterday launched Firecracker’s latest site for the RFU.

The new website, designed and built by Firecracker, is aimed at corporate event bookers, meeting planners, conference organisers, or even wedding couples. It is an aide to anyone looking for a venue for their next event.

The site, twickenhamexperience.com, offers customers and clients a cleaner, fresher look with new, strong imagery. Importantly, the customer journey through the site is improved meaning that people can find what they need quickly and in fewer clicks. It features an instant search facility for customers, downloadable PDFs and case studies from previous clients on experiences at Twickenham. Live social media feeds, Twitter and LinkedIn, now come direct onto the site and the whole site is search engine optimised to make it easy to find.

“Twickenham is an icon full of history and well situated in west London, well placed to win many corporate events,” said Carling. “It is probably the most famous rugby venue in the world and no doubt some of that magic can rub off on events held here.”

Carling added that the new Twickenham Experience website had been “a real surprise, very fresh and easy to use. Twickenham has got to get up to date; people want to see within 20 or 30 seconds what they want in terms of venue space,” he said.
